As head of the Abercrombie & Kent Group of Companies, Geoffrey Kent brings his truly extraordinary lifetime of experience, innovation and passion to the world’s most exclusive travel experiences. With a background in the military, Geoffrey Kent was the first to bring refrigeration to the plains of Africa in order to allow travelers a fine meal in remote areas. Mr. Kent is a pioneer of the modern luxury safari and has taken his company—and his clients—from undiscovered areas of the African continent to the furthermost reaches of the globe. He founded Abercrombie & Kent with his parents back in 1962.

Under his direction, Abercrombie & Kent became the internationally renowned luxury travel leader that it is today, In addition to his lifelong work with Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Kent has somehow found time to become a world-renowned polo player, a co-founder of Friends of Conservation and the current chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council. Mr. Kent is also a Founding Member of the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club.
